The body is designed to have the head; neck, rib cage, and pelvis perfectly balanced upon one another in front , back and side views.

Abnormal posture has been associated with the development and progression of many spinal, and joints conditions and increased the risk of injuries, including: Overactive muscle activities, disc injury, scoliosis, sport and work injuries, back pain, neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel symptoms, shoulder, hip and ankles injuries, osteoarthritis, as well as many other conditions.

Additionally, postural abnormalities in children and adolescent, have been identified as one of the sources of joints and muscles pain syndromes and early osteoarthritis in adulthood.

Therefore, In Total Functional Rehabilitation, believe that an exhaustive and complete static and dynamic functional postural Evaluation and program of exercises must to be done with all our patients not only to correct the muscles imbalances, decreased the risk of injuries and stop the progression of the postural deviations, pain and inflammation , but also to improve the quality of movement (biomechanics) of the patient, improving the performance during activities of daily living, and sport activities at any level.
